St Patrick’s Day Festive Fireside Celebration

Why not elevate your St. Patrick’s Day celebration this year with a sparkling, sophisticated twist?  Toast to good luck and great company with St Patrick’s Day Champagne complete with green rock sugar sticks and an Irish themed mix of savory and sweet green-hued treats.

Let’s start with Champagne!  Champagne already brings an air of festivity, but adding the simple addition of green rock sugar sticks transforms it to a St. Patrick’s Day showstopper.  First, select your favorite champagne flutes.  Then add a green rock sugar stick to each flute.  When guests arrive, pour champagne over the rock sugar stick and let your guests watch as the bubbles interact with the candy, creating a visual treat for the senses.

Next, add some festive bites.  We suggest using a rustic board that you fill with Irish cheddar, blue cheese or soft goat cheese rolled in herbs and some Irish meats such as corned beef, pastrami or Irish sausages.  Try some festive green fruits and vegetables to add a touch of color.  We like green grapes, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, sliced green apples and broccoli florets.  We also like to add a few dips and spreads such as Irish beer cheese, Spinach dip and whole grain mustards.  Add rye bread, crackers and pretzels for dipping and fresh rosemary or thyme for an extra touch.

As the night begins to get chilly, enhance the experience by lighting a Seasons Fire Pit for the perfect St. Patrick’s Day ambiance and warmth.  Cozy blankets and pillows will complete the scene.

Finish the evening with a tray of marshmallows and sticks for roasting and Irish coffee.  This will create a fun filled night with a touch of Irish luck.
