The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Luxury Seasonal Planter for Spring
A beautifully planted container should feel like a natural extension of your outdoor space – refined, intentional and quietly luxurious. The 42” Tall Planter, with its hand-forged steel is designed to stand on its own as a sculptural element. This spring arrangement blend structure, softness and subtle seasonal detail-perfect for creating that elevated backyard moment.
What you will need:
42” Tall Planter by Seasons
1 topiary boxwood
3 pink geraniums
6 petunia hanging baskets in tonal pinks
1 flat buttercrunch lettuce
2 pink gerber daisies
2 moss bunny planters
Potting Soil
Begin by filling the bottom of the planter with soil and add the topiary boxwood to the center of the planter. Next, add more potting soil on top, leaving enough room for planting the remainder of the flowers.
Start by mounding the dirt under the boxwood and plant the geraniums at the base. Then tuck the petunias in varying shades of pink on the outside of the geraniums. Let them spill gently toward the edges of the planter for a tonal, layered effect. Plant the buttercrunch lettuce along the outer edge of the planter. This allows the ruffled leaves to soften the rim. This is an unexpected detail that adds texture and gives the planter a garden to table sophistication.
For a subtle seasonal detail, add the two moss bunny planters with gerber daisies tucked into their backs. Place the bunnies low into the blooms so that their heads are poking out. This will give a subtle seasonal detail perfect for Easter.
