Turn Up the Heat: Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue by the Fire Pit
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the most memorable moments are the simplest – melted chocolate, good company and a warm fire. This easy chocolate fondue setup is perfect for a cozy date night, a Galentine’s gathering or a family Valentine’s treat.
To make the chocolate fondue you will need:
Chocolate Wafers
Heavy Cream
Small cast iron skillet or fondue pot
For dippers you will need:
Fresh Strawberries
Fresh Pineapple chunks
Marshmallows
Pirouette wafer sticks
Pound Cake, cubed
Cheesecake bites
Baby Brie rounds
Skewers
To make the chocolate fondue add the chocolate wafers and heavy cream to a cast iron skillet. Then slowly heat on low, stirring constantly, until smooth and glossy. That’s it. No special prep.
Finally, arrange your dippers on a large board, mixing textures and colors. Think charcuterie board. Place the warm chocolate skillet at the center. Let everyone dip, share and linger by the fire.
To make the moment special, add candles and flowers to the table, light the fire pit and suddenly dessert becomes the main event.
