Ornamentinis: Elevating Your Fire Pit Gatherings with Festive Flair

As the crisp air sets in and the holiday season approaches, there’s no better way to celebrate than by gathering around a cozy fire pit with friends. We chose to make a Cranberry Orange Cosmopolitan.

The ingredients per Ornamentini:

2 ounces vodka

1 ounce cranberry juice

1/2 ounce orange liqueur

1/2 ounce fresh lime juice

Fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish

Large glass round Christmas ball ornaments

 

Begin by preparing the Ornamentini mixture. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, and fresh lime juice. Shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.

 

Take a large glass round Christmas ball ornament, ensuring it is clean and dry. Using a small funnel, carefully pour the prepared Ornamentini mixture into the ornament.

 

Once the ornament is filled, replace the top securely to prevent any leakage.

 

To add a decorative touch, put a few fresh cranberries and a small sprig of rosemary at the bottom of the Martini glass and carefully, place the filled glass ornament on top.

 

When you are ready to serve, remove the top of the ornament and pour the cocktail into the martini glass. Encourage your guests to customize their own Ornamentini, by choosing their preferred martinis to fill the glass ornament.  Add a s’more tray to the table with the Ornamentinis for an additional festive flare.

 

To further enhance your outdoor area consider adding twinkling lights, warm blankets and holiday pillows to create a cozy atmosphere.  Surrounding the fire pit with holiday-themed decorations, such as wreaths, pinecones, and miniature Christmas trees, further enriches the festive atmosphere.
